At Guilty by Hearsay, we are dedicated to advocating for justice reform for the falsely accused and wrongfully convicted based solely on false allegations alone. Our mission is to bring attention to the injustices caused by unfair statutes like MCL750.520h which states no corroborating evidence is needed to obtain a conviction. This statute is unconstitutional and violates the defendant's right to due process. Investigators and prosecutors need no other evidence apart from the plaintiff's word to completely destroy the innocent. Through our advocacy, we aim to create a platform for change, working toward a fair and just legal system that empowers the wrongfully convicted and their loved ones and educates the public on the impact of false allegations in the legal process.
